Search for the name on FindWaldo. Traditional WHOIS records are usually redacted and on-chain owners are pseudonymous, so instead of scraping registries FindWaldo works from both directions: owners can claim a name and verify they control it, and interested buyers can register themselves against a name. Logged-in users see the contact details on either side.

Watching a name registers your interest in it. You submit the name along with your X, Discord or Telegram handle, and you are added to that name's watcher list. Whoever controls the name — and other logged-in users — can then see that you are interested and reach out to you directly.

Because that is how deals start. If you want to buy a name, the owner has no way to reach you unless you leave a way to be contacted. Watching a name puts you in front of whoever controls it, and in front of other buyers who might resell it.

Yes. From your portfolio you can claim any name you hold, prove that you control it, and it appears in the marketplace as a verified-owner listing. You can add an asking price or leave it open to offers, and choose which of your contact methods buyers should use.

FindWaldo gives you a short verification token to publish as a DNS or Handshake TXT record, or as an ENS text record on your name. Once FindWaldo reads the record back it marks your listing as a verified owner. Keep the record in place — ownership is re-checked over time so the verified badge stays trustworthy.

Listing is free. Owners set an optional asking price — in USD, ETH, HNS or BTC — or leave it open so buyers make an offer. FindWaldo shows the price on the listing so buyers know what a name costs before they reach out, but it never handles the payment itself.

Handshake is a decentralised naming protocol where top-level domains themselves are owned on a blockchain rather than issued by ICANN. An HNS name like .crypto is a TLD you own outright, and it is written with a leading dot to distinguish it from a regular second-level domain.

Ethereum Name Service names end in .eth and map a human-readable label to an Ethereum address, so you can receive funds at yourname.eth instead of a long hexadecimal string. ENS registrations expire and must be renewed, and ownership is public on-chain.
