Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FindWaldo (the “Service”), operated by 【legal entity name and registered address】 (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

FindWaldo is a directory that lets people register interest in domain names and lets other signed-in users see who has registered that interest, so that parties can reach one another. We do not broker, escrow, or take part in any transaction between users, and we do not register, sell, or transfer domain names on your behalf.

You must be at least 【minimum age, e.g. 16】 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

When you register interest in a name, you submit a contact handle (for example an X, Discord, or Telegram username). You confirm that the handle is yours or that you are authorised to share it, and you understand that it is shown to other signed-in users so they can contact you. You retain ownership of what you submit; you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it solely to operate the Service.

You agree not to:

• scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect other users’ contact handles or personal data;
• use handles or data obtained here to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
• submit false, misleading, unlawful, or infringing content;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or interfere with its operation;
• circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other technical protections; or
• use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

Any contact you make with another user is between you and that user. We are not a party to and are not responsible for those communications or any dealings that result from them. Treat other users’ contact details as personal data and use them only to make genuine, individual contact about the relevant name.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and your continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or to others. On termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms end.

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information submitted by users is accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
